De autor desconocido, pero creada, posiblemente, en el siglo 16, "The Twelve Days Of Christmas", habla acerca de los regalos que la gente se hacía en el medioevo.La primera versión aparece en INGLATERRA, en 1780. La versión definitiva se publicó en 1842, y se hizo popular a partir de 1940.

3.- THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY
Una profesora de música llamada KATHERINE DAVIS, compuso el villancico "Carol Of The Drum", en 1941. En 1958, el (por aquel entonces) presidente de la "20th Century Fox", llamado HENRY ONORATI y el compositor HARRY SIMEONE, agregaron letra y composición al villancico de DAVIS y lo titularon "The Little Drummer Boy". Esta canción cuenta la historia de un niño pastor que va a visitar al niño JESUS, y que al no tener ningún regalo, le ofrece música, a través de su tambor.
