1.- Historia

Inspirado en el ROCK 'N' ROLL de los 60's, Tom Petty, un músico y compositor nacido en Florida, se une a Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison y Jeff Lynne para formar THE TRAVELLING WILBURYS. Antes, en 1975, forma su grupo THE HEARTBRAKERS. Un año más tarde, su primer álbum es bien recibido por la critica musical. Tanto en solitario, como al lado de Mike Campbell un miembro del grupo, crea obras como "Breakdown", "Listen To Your Heart", "Don't Do Me Like That", "I Won't Back Down", "Runnin' Down A Dream" y "Free Fallin'". Ha colaborado con David Stewart, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne y Del Shannon.
