1.- Historia

EXTREME se formó en 1983 en BOSTON, USA. Se hicieron famosos casi 10 años mas tarde con "More Than Words", una balada acústica. Pero en general su música es una mezcla entre el POP, METAL, FUNK y BLUES.

3.- Vocabulario


- Hear = Escuchar

- Feel = Sentir

- 'Cause = Because = Porque

- Already = Ya

- Reach out = Extender, alargar, alcanzar

- Hold = Coger

- Let = Permitir, dejar

- Ever = Alguna vez, siempre, nunca



4.- Gramática


a) Nos encontramos con el uso del verbo modal "would".

- It would be

- What would you do?

- 'Cause I'd already know

En este último, "would" se contrae con el sujeto "I".


b) Observamos algunos verbos peculiares.

- Torn .- Es el pretérito de Tear, que significa romper o rasgar (como verbo) y si actúa como sustantivo se traduce como lágrima.

- Tried .- Es el pasado de Try que tiene varios significados. Dos de los más comunes son "tratar / intentar" y "probar".

- Touch.- La traducción literal primera sería "Tocar", pero también (como en esta canción) significa "acariciar".

- Close .- Cuando actúa como verbo generalmente se interpreta como "cerrar". Pero también significa "cerca".
