SONGVERSANDO - NUEVO LIBRO

 Es grato presentar el nuevo libro de INGLESPEDIA, "SongVersando".

1.- Portada

El nombre del libro es la combinación de las palabras "Song" (canción) y "Versando" (de hacer o crear versos) que unidas se asemejan a la palabra "Conversando".

Tal como se puede leer en la parte inferior, se trata de un libro que contiene 30 versos originales escritos por el autor, los cuales además tienen vocabulario específico de cada uno de los versos así como su gramática explicada de forma clara y sencilla.

2.- Contenido

Los versos fueron inspirados por temas musicales, géneros, etc.

3.- Muestra

En la foto superior, se puede apreciar hacia el lado izquierdo, el primero de los versos y en el lado derecho, la explicación de algunas palabras y su gramática.

Los versos también ayudan a la pronunciación con la rima.

Todos los versos están distribuidos de la misma manera.

4.- Notas

En las notas encontrará mayor información acerca de cada uno de los versos. En la foto superior, puede leer la del primer verso.

5.- Contraportada

Aquí hay una pequeña muestra de contenido interesante para los estudiantes de inglés.

THE WAR SONG - CULTURE CLUB

 1.- Historia

En 1981, el irlandés George O'dowd (Boy George), funda el grupo Culture Club junto a Roy Hay, Michael Craig y John Moss. Poco tiempo después, obtienen su primer contrato discográfico con el sello Virgin Records. El nombre del grupo se debe a que todos los miembros son de diferentes orígenes.

- Quarter = Cuartel

4.- Grammar

a) Presente Simple

Ejemplos:

b) Pasado Simple

c) Presente Continuo

- Now we're fighting in our hearts.

d) Futuro con "Will"

- I won't give it to you.

- Won't somebody help me?

e) Presente Perfecto

- After the bird has flown.

f) Matter

Dos frases diferentes (Negativa y positiva) con la palabra "Matter".

- No matter what you say. = No importa/Sin importar lo que digas. (Negativa)

* También se utiliza con otras Wh-words como "Who", "Where", "When", etc.

- It matters what you say. = Importa lo que digas. (Afirmativa)

* Igual que el anterior, podemos usar otras Wh-words.
