CRANBERRIES - ODE TO MY FAMILY
1.- History
El grupo de Rock irlandés, Cranberries se forma en 1990 bajo el primer nombre de The Cranberry Saw Us. Sus miembros, los hermanos Noel y Mike Hogan, y Feargal Lawler, decidieron incluir a la vocalista Dolores O'Riordan, un año más tarde.
Una de las canciones más personales de Dolores O'Riordan, la encontramos en el segundo álbum del grupo, titulado "No Need To Argue". Se trata de "Ode To My Family", tema en el que la vocalista rememora sus primeros años de vida.
Dolores O'Riordan falleció el 15 de enero de 2018.

- Disagree = No estar de acuerdo.
- Care = Preocupar(se), importar.
- Unhappiness = Desdicha
- Raise = Criar
- Design = Diseño
- Find = Encontrar
- To give a damn = No preocuparse por nada, No importar nada a alguien.
- Turn away = Girar, cambiar de dirección, dar la vuelta.

I.- En en la frase:

Lo correcto -gramaticalmente- sería:
She held me.
II.- La frase:
You did not find me.
Tiene una connotación muy fuerte porque se separa el auxiliar del negativo y se da la mayor fuerza de voz en "not".

MUFFINS - RECIPE
Por ello, nosotros iniciamos el año retando a nuestro público a cocinar.
Se trata de una sencilla receta para hacer Muffins (también conocidas como Magdalenas en España).
1.- Ingredients (12 muffins)
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2.- Utensils
1 small bowl
1 medium bowl
1 spoon
1 toothpick
a 12 muffin pan
1 oven
3.- Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a medium bowl add...
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Whisk well together. Set aside.
In small bowl add...
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Whisk well together.
With a spoon make a well in the middle of the dry mixture. Slowly add milk, oil and egg to flour mixture. Mix batter until moist. Do not over mix batter.
Grease 12 muffin pan. Fill each muffin pan 2/3 full of muffin batter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
