En esta ocasión, publicamos un texto para practicar los verbos en pasado.
El ejercicio consiste en colocar los verbos que están entre paréntesis, en pasado simple.

Last easter holidays Jimmy and Paul ___ (go) camping in the mountain. They ___ (spend) a wonderful time there. They ___ (wake up) early in the morning and then they ___ (go) for a walk. In the village they ___ (buy) everything they ___ (need).
In the afternoon, they ___ (play) football, ___ (watch) the birds and ___ (swim) in the river.
They ___ (not have) a TV set, so after dinner they ___ (talk) for a while and then they ___ (go) to sleep.
One night Jimmy ___ (have) a very strange dream: they ___ (be) by the river watching the moon. Suddenly, they ___ (hear) someone calling "Hello! Hello!". They ___ (turn) around and they ___ (see) a strange creature. It ___ (be) green and very small. He ___ (invite) them to go to his spaceship. There, they ___ (meet) other strange creatures and a beautiful princess.
They ___ (sit) down round a table and they ___ (eat) some strange food. Jimmy ___ (drink) a glass of fruit juice. It ___ (taste) good so he ___ (ask) for another glass of it. After a while, he ___ (feel) a bit strange.
Oh dear! he ___ (turn) green and small like the others. The princess ___ (not be) beautiful anymore and she (look) horrible.
What was happening?
