IV.- Fun Facts

1.- En UK la frase para felicitar la Navidad es "Happy Christmas", mientras que en USA es "Merry Christmas".

2.- En UK es más importante el "Christmas Day" (Día de Navidad = 25 de diciembre) que el Christmas Eve" (Nochebuena).

3.- El "Christmas Dinner" suele consistir en pavo (turkey) con verduras (vegetables). Y de postre "Christmas Pudding", una especie de pastel caliente, relleno de frutos secos.

4.- "Xmas".- Algunos lo escriben así porque "X" es en letra griega, el equivalente al sonido "chi". "Chi" es la primera letra de la palabra "Christ" en griego.

5.- Las canciones de Navidad, también llamadas "Carols" o "Christmas Songs", datan del siglo 12 DC. Las primeras fueron hechas para ser cantadas en solitario y para ser bailadas. Algunos de ellos son "Hymns" (Himnos). Los "Himnos" son considerados "canciones de Dios" o "canciones de alegría".
